Updating Workspaces

Learn how to modify existing workspace settings in CloudPie.

Prerequisites

• Access to the CloudPie Dashboard
• Project-level permissions to edit workspaces
• Workspace must not have active deployments

Editing Process

1. Access the Workspace:
2. Navigate to the Dashboard
3. Select your target project
4. Click View Workspaces in the sidebar

5. Locate the workspace you want to modify

6. Open Edit Form:

7. Click the edit (pencil) icon next to the workspace

8. The form will show current workspace settings

9. Modify Settings: You can update:

10. Workspace description
11. Terraform version
12. Associated Git repository
13. Linked cloud account

14. Variables and secrets

15. Save Changes:

16. Review your modifications
17. Click Update Workspace to apply changes

Important Notes

• Workspace name cannot be changed after creation
• Changes may require workspace reinitialization
• Active deployments should be completed first
• Variable updates affect future runs only
• State files remain unchanged during edits
